The Tatami bed combines the aesthetics of Japanese design with a modern approach to bedroom interiors. Its low, minimalist construction creates a calm and harmonious space, helping you relax and unwind after a long day.

With its simple form, the bed fits perfectly into Japanese-style, minimalist, and natural interiors inspired by slow living. Clean lines and a low-to-the-ground design bring a sense of lightness and a unique character to the room.

Crafted from solid pine wood, the bed ensures stability while preserving the natural look and warmth of the material.

Each bed is made to order – production begins after your order is placed.

By choosing this Tatami bed, you receive a complete bed frame with slats (wooden mattress support).

Material

Our beds are handcrafted from first-class natural pine wood.
Solid wood is a strong, durable material – our beds can support up to 200 kg.

We do not use laminated wood, as it may crack over time and the adhesives used are not suitable for children.

All edges are rounded, milled, and sanded for a completely safe finish.

Mattress Slats

The set includes a full set of separate pine slats (laths).
Slats are included in the product price.

Bed Entrance

You can choose from three entrance options: right (as shown in the photo), left, or center.

Note: Once the bed is built, the entrance side cannot be changed.

Dimensions

The selected bed size corresponds to the mattress size.

  • Recommended mattress height: 22–35 cm

  • Slat thickness: 22 mm

  • External dimensions are 6.5 cm larger than the mattress size

  • Maximum load: up to 200 kg (depending on size)

Finish Options

The bed can be finished with:

  • Natural eco-friendly oil, which protects the wood from mold, moisture, and children's saliva (EN-71 certified)

  • Child-safe paint for furniture and toys (EN-71 certified)

  • Or left unfinished – sanded, raw wood ready for self-painting by the buyer

Mattress

The mattress is not included in the set.
This bed is recommended for children over 2 years of age.
