Scandinavian Wooden Kids Bed with Practical Drawer

The Nordic Drawer kids bed is a stylish and durable wooden children’s bed made from solid pine wood. Designed in a clean Scandinavian style, it combines natural materials, safety and practical functionality, making it a perfect choice for any modern children's bedroom.

The bed features smooth rounded edges that reduce the risk of bumps and scratches, ensuring a safe and comfortable sleeping environment for your child.

Thanks to the practical pull-out drawer with an additional sleeping space, the bed can be used as a single bed, guest bed or sibling bed. It is an ideal solution for families who want to save space while keeping the room functional and organized.

 

What is included

When purchasing the Nordic Drawer wooden kids bed, you receive a complete set:

✔ frame of the upper wooden bed
✔ lower pull-out drawer with additional sleeping space
✔ solid pine slats (bed base) for both the bed and the drawer

The bed is ready for assembly and everyday use.

 

Material – Solid Pine Wood

Our beds are handcrafted from high-quality solid pine wood.

Solid wood is durable and long-lasting. The bed frame can support a maximum load of up to 150 kg, depending on the selected size.

We do not use laminated wood, as it may crack over time and the adhesives used in such materials are not ideal for children's furniture.

All edges are rounded, milled and carefully sanded, ensuring safe use for children.

 

Bed Slats

The set includes a complete pine wood slatted base.

The slats are not connected together and simply rest on the bed frame.
The slatted base is included in the price.

 

Dimensions

The size selected when placing the order corresponds to the mattress size.

Bed leg height: 20 cm
Headboard height from the floor: 80 cm
Footboard height from the floor: 62 cm

Recommended mattress height: 17–30 cm

Slat thickness: 22 mm

The bed frame is 9.3 cm wider and 5.6 cm longer than the mattress.

Maximum load capacity: up to 150 kg (depending on size).

 

Lower Drawer with Extra Sleeping Space

The lower drawer can be used as an extra bed or storage drawer.

Drawer height: 15 cm

Recommended mattress height for the drawer: up to 13 cm

The drawer length is 10 cm shorter than the upper bed.

Maximum load capacity: up to 90 kg (depending on size).

 

Finish

The bed can be finished in three options:

  • natural eco oil that protects the wood from moisture and dirt (EN-71 certified)
  • safe paint for children's furniture and toys (EN-71 certified)
  • unfinished natural wood, sanded and ready for painting by the buyer

All finishes are safe for children.

 

Mattress

The mattress is not included in the set.

The wood color visible in the photos may vary slightly due to monitor settings, lighting conditions or the natural structure of the wood.

Each bed is unique, which is a natural characteristic of solid wood.
